Position Overview:
Education:
+ A high school diploma or G.E.D. is mandatory.
Work Experience:
+ A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
Essential Skills:
+ Strong communication skills, including effective listening, speaking, and writing.
+ Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
+ Excellent interpersonal abilities.
+ Strong problem-solving skills.
+ Keen attention to detail.
+ Teamwork capabilities.
+ Adequate hearing and vision to perform job functions.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond to security alarms and take necessary actions.
+ Monitor and screen personnel exiting the distribution center.
+ Provide courteous and prompt service to visitors and staff.
+ Document and submit daily incident reports.
+ Acquire knowledge of basic distribution center operations.
+ Stay informed about current company policies and procedures.
+ Report policy violations to loss prevention management.
+ Conduct tours of the distribution center as assigned, ensuring a loss prevention presence.
+ Learn and adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
Physical Requirements & Attendance:
+ Adequate hearing and vision to perform job duties.
+ Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, feel, handle, and perform repetitive motions; frequently stoop, crouch, and use fingers; occasionally required to climb, balance, and run.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
+ Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
+ Ability to work in diverse environments (office, warehouse, outdoors) throughout all seasons.
Other Requirements:
This position requires successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
