We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team at Equinox in Midtown Manhattan. As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional fitness experiences to our members, while also developing and refining your skills and knowledge in programming, education, business, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Build and maintain an active client base, manage and maintain an accurate schedule, and market and sell personal training programs to members and/or clients.
- Client Services: Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members, interact with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experience, and create and coach personalized programs for both in-person and virtual clients.
- Professional Development: Attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge and qualify for promotions, and participate in any required one-on-one or team meetings with management.
- Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through certification reimbursement program.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness.
- Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and technology skills.
- Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful.
