Our market research and consumer insights team is committed to utilizing both primary and secondary research methodologies to uncover industry trends, identify knowledge gaps, and highlight opportunities that can drive growth.

Your role will focus on delivering data-driven insights that enhance customer engagement initiatives, aligning with our strategic objectives.


SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Market Research, or a related discipline; Food Marketing is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a marketing analytics position, ideally within a food manufacturing, retail, or supply context.
  • Experience in consulting and/or consumer packaged goods industry research, analysis, and consumer insights is preferred.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships across various departments and with leaders at all levels.
  • Professional demeanor, team-oriented mindset, and a curiosity to derive meaningful data insights. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple research projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the technical aptitude to acquire new skills and adapt to new platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct research and analysis on food and beverage flavor trends utilizing platforms such as Mintel, Circana, Datassential, among others.
  • Monitor social media channels to identify and understand consumer food interests, as well as emerging fads and trends.
  • Integrate qualitative, quantitative, and sales data to create a cohesive and compelling narrative using effective storytelling techniques.
  • Perform quarterly menu analyses to identify emerging food trends, flavors, and ingredients.
  • Analyze how new and emerging technologies influence consumer preferences and purchasing behaviors.
  • Engage with consumers through various online and offline methods to gauge preferences and purchase intentions.
  • Assist in the development of an annual research and data plan to document competitive intelligence.
  • Contribute to major reports, including white papers and industry status reports.
  • Collaborate with researchers, external companies, and organizations to identify impactful research opportunities.
  • Target specific market segments through ongoing development and refinement of marketing lists.
  • Enhance and expand our target marketing channels through research, focusing on improving our B2B presence.
  • Work closely with research & development, regulatory, and sales teams to support ad-hoc customer projects.
  • Assist with various miscellaneous projects and administrative tasks as required.
