Job Summary: The Per Diem IR Nurse II provides direct nursing care to patients in Interventional Radiology. This role requires a minimum of two shifts per schedule, including one weekend shift and one summer and one winter holiday. Patient care may include all age groups. This position does not qualify for out-of-area float pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance professional growth through educational programs and workshops
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
- Identify and report potential patient safety concerns
- Deliver direct care to assigned patients
- Ensure patient records contain necessary information
- Participate in orientation and preceptor training
Requirements:
- Education: Program Graduate (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Experience: 1 year directly related experience
- Credentials: RN in NM, CPR certification, ACLS and PALS certifications
- Physical Conditions: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally
Working Conditions: Involves handling chemicals and biohazardous materials requiring PPE
