Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our award-winning team in Columbus, OH. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our construction projects, utilizing industry-leading software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed design drawings for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, layout, and detail components and structural systems
  • Draw and detail plans based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data
  • Modify drawings with necessary engineering changes
  • Run clash detections and organize reports

Requirements

  • Experience in residential and commercial construction
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of how to read construction drawings
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good people skills
  • Great attitude
