Overview

North Bay Children is a reputable organization dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to oversee our programs.

Job Summary

The Program Director will be responsible for leading our team of educators, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing curriculum that meets the needs of our children. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point person for regulatory agencies, including the California Department of Education and Community Care Licensing.
  2. Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, including reporting, enrollment, and student records.
  3. Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with industry best practices and meets the needs of our children.
  4. Lead a team of educators, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality instruction.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including attendance, progress reports, and staff evaluations.
  6. Collaborate with the Area Director to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  7. Monitor program budget, ensuring effective use of resources and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  8. Recruit, hire, and train new staff members as needed.
  9. Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in program management or leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of compliance with regulatory requirements and development of high-quality curricula.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and regulatory agencies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Salary Range:

$77,000 - $88,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
