Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating all phases of nutritional care for inpatients and outpatients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nutritional assessments, evaluations, and planning to ensure optimal patient care
  • Calculate and record meal patterns to meet individual patient needs
  • Maintain high standards of nutritional care and coordinate with all caregivers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized meal plans to meet patient nutritional needs
  • Participate in daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Services department, including meal service, customer satisfaction, quality improvement projects, and department education
  • Interact and confer with various professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case management, to assess and implement the nutritional plan of care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
  • Licensed by the State of Texas or must obtain license within 4 months of hire
  • Registered/Registered eligible with the American Dietetic Association
