About the Role

AFC Urgent Care Swampscott | Beverly | North Andover | Methuen is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic x-rays, welcoming patients and visitors, and assisting in patient care to ensure speedy patient flow and optimal patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all diagnostic x-rays
  • Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Assist in patient care to ensure speedy patient flow and to optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization
  • Inventory supplies, replenish supplies when received
  • Assist in maintaining equipment
  • Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers
  • ARRT Certification
  • Current Massachusetts licensure or permit to practice medical imagining
  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support
  • Phlebotomy is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 months experience post-graduation working as a licensed X-Ray Technologist preferred but not required
  • Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA
