Role Responsibilities and QualificationsWe are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Telemetry Float Pool. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality care for patients in medical-surgical and telemetry environments. Our team is dedicated to supporting one another, and we seek a compassionate professional who shares our commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in Med/Surg and Telemetry units.
- Educate patients and their families about medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including test results and treatment updates.
- Administer medications according to physician orders.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- NIHSS certification required within six months of hire.
- Relevant nursing certifications (e.g., CCRN, ONC, PCCN, CMSRN) are a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
