Job Title: UI/Mobile Automation Engineer

Location: Remote

Term: Long Term Contract

Client: Walmart


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for mobile applications using tools like APM, Postman, and Rest assured.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test approaches, coverage, requirement gaps, and risks.
  • Develop and execute test plans for iOS and Android devices, including unit and functional tests.
  • Identify and report defects, and drive defect triage calls.
  • Manage Jira and Confluence as tools for execution, reporting, and collaboration.
  • Interact with clients and internal teams to deliver QE scope and take projects to production.

Requirements:

  • 5-9 years of experience in software testing with over 2 years of experience in API testing.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to autonomously solve problems.
  • Knowledge of SQL, DBMS/RDBMS, and web services validation.
  • Ability to test mobile products across multiple platforms, including web applications, iOS, and Android.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of automation tools like Cucumber and REST API.
  • Experience with E-Commerce, Merchandizing, Checkout processes, and online Payments processes.
