About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Support Level I to join our team at the New Mexico Veterans' Home. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents, including feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, and moving patients
  • Assist with restorative care and promote the highest quality of life for residents
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
  • Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), Home Health Aid (HHA), or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) OR eligible to attain certification
  • 6 months of experience in a long-term care facility or nursing home
  • CRP certification
  • Valid American Heart Association BLS / CPR Certification
  • Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico
