You will work closely with our experienced team of claims professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in insurance coverage, policy analysis, and claim resolution. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn about the insurance industry and develop valuable skills that can be applied in a variety of careers.
Job Responsibilities- Investigate and assemble facts related to claims, determine policy coverage, and evaluate the amount of loss.
- Analyze legal liability and pay or deny losses, ensuring timely and accurate claims payments.
- Work towards the resolution of claims, attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary.
- Service agents, policyholders, and others, providing excellent customer service.
Candidates must be currently enrolled students entering their junior or senior year in college. Above average communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to resolve complex issues are essential. The estimated salary for this role is $16.00 per hour, with potential for a higher rate for returning interns.
