PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Utilize expertise in immunology and regulatory compliance to design and implement translational and clinical research studies, analyze and present findings, and prepare regulatory submissions related to cancer immunotherapy initiatives in the laboratory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Formulate scientific hypotheses pertinent to ongoing laboratory projects.
2. Design experiments to validate these hypotheses independently.
3. Execute or oversee experimental procedures.
4. Analyze experimental data autonomously.
5. Compile and organize data for oral or written presentations.
6. Prepare comprehensive reports for the Principal Investigator, including abstracts, manuscripts, grant proposals, and presentations for local and national conferences.
7. Conduct both routine and advanced procedures, analyze data, and effectively communicate results through various formats including presentations and manuscripts.
8. Collaborate with colleagues, visitors, and staff in alignment with the core values of Jefferson.
9. Generate necessary regulatory documentation for translational and clinical research projects, including submissions to IRB, FDA, IBC, and IACUC.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Ph.D. in immunology or a related field in cancer immunotherapy.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience in an academic or industry laboratory environment is essential.
