Position Summary:

We are in search of a driven and meticulous Supply Chain Supervisor to manage our dynamic parts department. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining efficient operations, optimal stock levels, and exceptional service across various departments. If you possess strong leadership abilities, a sharp attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Logistics Manager in supervising the daily functions of the logistics department, ensuring effective workflow and compliance with established procedures.
  • Directly oversee the logistics team under the Logistics Manager's guidance, which includes task assignment, performance monitoring, and providing coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Carry out lot porting activities, including physical inspections, documentation, and processing, ensuring precision and adherence to industry regulations and company standards.
  • Serve as an alternate for the Logistics Manager during their absence, taking on managerial duties such as coordinating team efforts, resolving escalated issues, and making decisions to maintain seamless departmental operations.
  • Work collaboratively with the logistics team and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication regarding lot porting activities.
  • Assist in onboarding new lot porters, ensuring they are well-versed in departmental procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that drivers adhere to safe driving practices and comply with traffic regulations.
  • Follow company safety policies, guidelines, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
