Piedmont Heart Institute is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Acute Care Services team at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital. This is a full-time night position that offers a unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians in the nation.
About the Role:
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting, working closely with Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient's record.
- Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries.
- Prepare patient workups and order diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
