IT Systems Specialist II

to enhance our team.

Role Location
This position requires onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the deployment, troubleshooting, and upkeep of IT infrastructures.
  • Deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Oversee the daily operations and configuration management of IT systems.
  • Assist users in navigating and utilizing IT resources effectively.
  • Support the escalation process and communicate status updates to management and internal stakeholders.
  • Enhance system performance and resource efficiency, conducting capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide extensive expertise in diagnosing and resolving IT system issues.
  • Offer comprehensive analysis and feedback to management regarding escalated support tickets.
  • Assist in the management of the dispatch system and hardware issues, remaining engaged in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, among others.

Security Clearance
Applicants must possess TS/SCI with FS Poly.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field from an accredited institution (5+ years of additional experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Over 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in similar programs and contracts.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 standards, holding IAT Level I or higher certification.
