Art Therapist

As an Art Therapist at University Hospitals, you will play a vital role in providing patient-focused care that meets the highest standards of the American Art Therapy Association. Your expertise in art therapy will enable you to assess patient needs, implement effective interventions, and evaluate outcomes to ensure the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain professional behavior and uphold UH core qualities
Provide relationship-based care to patients and their families, adhering to American Art Therapy Association standards
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
Participate in trainings, team meetings, and rounds to ensure seamless teamwork and adherence to departmental and system missions
Supervise graduate interns as needed
Engage in self-development and support a learning environment by attending professional development opportunities and staying up-to-date with relevant research and publications
Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards
Additional Requirements
Safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients
Complete annual training and adhere to UH Code of Conduct and policies and procedures regarding PHI use in the workplace
