The Key Account Management Specialist serves as the primary internal liaison for all Key Accounts, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and support while continually seeking enhancements to our systems and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Support: Oversee daily operations related to key account support, including order processing, tracking, EDI compliance, shipping documentation, logistics coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Compliance Management: Handle all requests and requirements for compliance accounts, including EDI order processing, pre-ticketing, and inventory feeds.
  • Routing and Documentation: Maintain routing guides, compliance manuals, and transaction-specific needs for key accounts.
Essential Duties:

Order and Compliance Oversight: Ensure all key account functions meet the highest standards of customer and company expectations, including managing customer relationships, tracking orders, and maintaining communication regarding order status.

Sample Coordination: Submit and manage requests to the sample department, ensuring timely follow-up and communication.

System Management: Oversee product and customer data management, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

Logistics Coordination: Monitor traffic, customs, scheduling, and shipping processes, ensuring clear communication with customers regarding any potential delays.

Key Tasks:
  • Develop strong relationships with buyers through effective communication.
  • Minimize processing errors to reduce charge-backs.
  • Enhance reorder sales through proactive communication with buyers.
  • Ensure timely processing of drop ship accounts and communication of shipping details.
  • Maintain accurate UPC code information across systems.
  • Complete New Product Information forms promptly to facilitate order processing.
  • Monitor credit status and communicate with management as necessary.
  • Research and resolve shipping or invoicing discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping performance standards.
  • Manage customer data effectively, both online and in hard copy.
  • Handle charge-back inquiries with promptness and accuracy.
Qualifications:

Proven experience with EDI systems, UPC compliance, and routing guide management is essential.

Skills Required:
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and online systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
