About the Role

Powell Industries is seeking an experienced Electronics Development Engineer to join our Research and Development department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development, validation, and technical support of industrial electronic products from concept to full production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and validate industrial electronic products, including new products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Lead design reviews and undertake validation and certification activities associated with the development of industrial electronic hardware.
  • Generate and maintain detailed technical documents, including product specifications and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal production and engineering teams to ensure smooth product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial electronic product development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to write technical documents and present complex information to stakeholders.
