Position ResponsibilitiesThis role will involve leading a dedicated team to facilitate the design and permitting processes for a variety of land development projects, including commercial, residential, multi-family, mixed-use, industrial, and medical developments. The Project Manager will oversee all facets of project design and ensure effective coordination with clients, regulatory bodies, and other consultants to secure necessary permits and approvals.
Ideal Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will possess a robust background in project management, having supervised diverse project types, or will have extensive experience in land development planning, design, and permitting. Familiarity with the regulatory submission processes and requirements at local, county, and state levels is essential. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining project budgets.
- Engaging with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Managing resources to achieve established project milestones.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D is required, with support from a team of designers and drafters for final drawings.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Software.
- Experience in land development design and management, including grading, drainage, water, sewer, and paving plans.
- Ability to produce accurate and comprehensive construction plans and reports.
- Conducting technical research and investigations.
- Establishing and managing project budgets and coordinating client invoices.
- Capacity to manage, mentor, and facilitate team training sessions.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying engineering information clearly and concisely.
- Ensuring the accuracy of plans and reports through adherence to QA/QC standards.
