Job Summary:

As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a medium-sized program, with a focus on both administrative and client caseload responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Develop and implement budget recommendations to ensure the effective allocation of resources.
  • Counseling and Disciplinary Responsibilities: Conduct performance evaluations, allocate resources, and have overall personnel management responsibility (HR, personnel, compensation issues).
  • Program Design and Operations: Oversee the design and implementation of program operations within the unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Access Outcomes and Resource Allocation: Accountable for access outcomes and the allocation of resources to ensure optimal program performance.
  • Regional Committee Participation: May participate on regional committees to contribute to the development of organizational policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of post-license, paid experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
  • Education: Masters degree in applied behavioral science required.
  • License, Certification, Registration: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California). National Provider Identifier required at hire.

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of State Regulations: Must have knowledge of state regulations with regard to ethics, treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
  • Couples and Families Requirement: If Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of California, must meet couples and families requirement or complete within two (2) years of hire.
  • Labor/Management Partnership Environment: Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
