We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assembly Technician to join our team at AGILE Space Industries. As a key member of our propulsion systems team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our in-space propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Test Propulsion Systems: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of our propulsion systems to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and Repair Issues: Identify and troubleshoot issues with our propulsion systems, and make repairs as needed to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure that our propulsion systems are designed, built, and tested to meet our customers' needs.
- Develop and Implement Quality Processes: Develop and implement quality processes and procedures to ensure that our propulsion systems meet our high standards of quality and performance.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as 10 or more years of relevant experience in aerospace, defense, or internal combustion engines.
- Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our propulsion systems are designed, built, and tested to meet our customers' needs.
- Ability to Troubleshoot and Repair Issues: The ability to troubleshoot and repair issues with our propulsion systems is critical for this role, as well as the ability to develop and implement quality processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of Quality Standards: Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9000, AS9100, and J-STD is required for this role.
- Security Clearance: A security clearance may be required for this role, depending on the specific requirements of the position.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T): Knowledge of GD&T or a willingness to learn is preferred for this role.
