Senior Assembly Technician

Agile Space Industries is a leading manufacturer of in-space propulsion systems for satellites and spacecraft. Our team of experts designs, builds, and tests cutting-edge propulsion systems using state-of-the-art 3D metal alloy printing techniques.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assembly Technician to join our team. As a Senior Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped products. You will inspect materials, parts, documentation, and products at different stages of production, measuring parts using standard inspection equipment and recording observations.

• Inspect incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped products to ensure quality requirements are met
• Measure parts using standard inspection equipment and record observations
• Identify and report mechanical, electrical, and material nonconformances
• Ensure product compliance documentation is complete and accurate
• Apply, revise, and maintain quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspection

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience in aerospace, defense, or internal combustion engines
• Excellent team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot faulty mechanical assemblies and some electrical troubleshooting skills
• Broad experience across multiple fields preferred
• Ability to self-direct and recognize problems that have not been raised yet
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
• Personal commitment to attention to detail and delivering conforming products to our customers

• US Citizenship, Permanent Residency, Refugee, or Asylum Status is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required
• Previous use of and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) or a willingness to learn

• Competitive salary range of $30-$40/hour
