Dishwashing Duties:
  • Ensure a clean, sanitary, and compliant environment for food preparation and service.
  • Monitor the dish cleaning machine's effectiveness, including water temperature and cleanliness of kitchen items.
  • Oversee the operation of the dish machine, including setup and breakdown.
  • Wash and store all kitchenware, utensils, and small equipment appropriately.
  • Prepare pot and pan washing stations, ensuring proper sanitation.
  • Regularly check the sanitizing sink to confirm the correct solution mix and temperature.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pot washing supply area.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness in the dish room.
  • Assist in daily floor cleaning tasks as directed.
  • Keep the dish room organized, including the detergent storage area.
Serving Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the efficient distribution of prepared meals while enhancing the customer experience.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding menu items and availability.
  • Set up and maintain the food service line, ensuring all items are ready for service.
  • Adhere to sanitation protocols while preparing for food service.
  • Ensure all utensils are clean and functional before use.
  • Serve food according to portion control guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the food service line throughout the service period.
  • Monitor food supply levels and communicate needs to the kitchen staff.
  • Assess the quality of food being served and report any issues.
  • Regularly check food temperatures during service and make necessary adjustments.
  • Utilize gloves and utensils properly while serving.
  • Clean and sanitize serving areas and utensils after each shift.
