Job Summary:

About the Role:

  • Assess emergency situations and determine the best course of action, utilizing progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Provide advanced medical care using medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, loved ones, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in community programs to maintain a positive image and foster strong relationships with local residents.

Requirements:

To succeed as a Paramedic with AMR, you'll need:

  • A CA State Paramedic Card.
  • Specific certifications, such as BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS.
  • A valid CA Driver's License.
  • A clean driving record.
  • The ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
