Job Summary

Mount Carmel Behavioral Health is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead our behavioral health services division. As a transformational leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, improve patient outcomes, and enhance our reputation as a leading provider of behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive growth and improve patient outcomes
    • Lead and manage a team of senior leaders to achieve divisional objectives
    • Collaborate with the governing body and medical staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the division, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services
    • Develop and implement processes to improve quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
    • Manage budgets and financial resources to achieve divisional objectives
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, vendors, and community partners
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our services
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
    • Collaborate with the quality improvement team to ensure continuous quality improvement
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing, Clinical Discipline, or related field
    • Master's degree in health care administration, business administration, Clinical Discipline, or related field preferred
  • Experience
    • Minimum of three to five years of experience in senior leadership or CEO role in a behavioral health, acute care, and/or managed care environment
    • Proven track record of success in leading and managing teams, driving growth, and improving patient outcomes
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
