Assembler/Packer - 1st Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembler/Packer to join our team in Rochester, NY. As an Assembler/Packer, you will be responsible for assembling and packaging products according to standard operating procedures. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to the production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble products according to documented Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain production rates and perform quality in-line audit checks
  • Take care of daily shop clean-ups and maintain 6S organization
  • Operate machinery as required by the assigned cell rotation
  • Perform other applicable tasks as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. maximum
  • Dexterity to efficiently work with small parts
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, pull, push, and engage in repetitive physical movement
Working Conditions:

  • Sitting
Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this opportunity is $18.18. This position is eligible for a 5% annual bonus. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
