Key Responsibilities- Lesson Planning and Instruction: Develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of students with disabilities, ensuring active learning and maximum student achievement.
- IEP and ILP Development: Collaborate with parents and guardians to develop and implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) that meet the needs of each student.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with general education teachers, related services staff, and parents to provide special education services that maximize student achievement.
- Assessment and Data Analysis: Utilize formative and summative assessments to collect data on student progress and report findings to parents and guardians.
- Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintain the confidentiality of student records and adhere to district policies and procedures.
- Georgia Educator Certificate: Hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or meet the district's professional qualifications.
