Creative Video Producer

Position Overview:

The Research Council is seeking a talented and imaginative Creative Video Producer who possesses a keen eye for storytelling through visual media. The ideal candidate will be driven, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality video and audio for various projects.
  • Conduct live shoots as required.
  • Edit video content for both broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Engage in the full editorial process, including sourcing, developing, and presenting stories.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in video production within a professional setting.
  • Degree in journalism, media production, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in non-linear editing software.
  • Experience with live broadcasting technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively share content across various digital platforms.
  • Physical capability to lift equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including on-call assignments.
