Nurse - Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
About the RoleThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to residents, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, and ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of residents. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care to residents, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents, including monitoring vital signs, reporting changes in condition, and providing emotional support.
- Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, maintaining confidentiality and respecting resident autonomy.
We are seeking candidates who possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and service to our residents. Requirements include:
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing, or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
