Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disorders. This is a full-time position available for the upcoming school year.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with students of various age groups. The selected individual will be required to assess students, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve their communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing Students:
    • Evaluating students' communication skills and identifying areas for improvement
    • Developing assessments and testing materials as needed
  • Developing Treatment Plans:
    • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
    • Modifying plans as necessary to meet students' changing needs
  • Implementing Interventions:
    • Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions to students
    • Using evidence-based practices and techniques to improve students' communication skills
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Working closely with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to support students' overall development
    • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Experience working with students of various age groups
  • Knowledge of assessment and treatment protocols for communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $63,000 - $93,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
