Clinical Linguist

We are seeking a highly skilled Communication Specialist to join our team at the Community Consolidated School District 21. As a member of our staff, you will play a critical role in supporting students with communication disorders and promoting their academic success.

This position requires strong assessment and treatment planning skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' communication skills, including speech, language, and literacy abilities
• Develop and implement targeted interventions to address students' communication needs and goals
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to integrate communication instruction into curriculum and lesson plans

Requirements:

• M.A. or Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or related field from an accredited program
• Current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and needs, preferably in a school setting

Salary Range: $75,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
