Speech and Language Specialist

This is a full-time position responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication disorders in an outpatient setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition and establish a plan of care.
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy programs using standard techniques appropriate for the age and disability of the patient.
- Document delivery of services and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education to patients, family members, caregivers, and significant others on effective communication strategies.
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Previous experience in hospital setting preferred; dysphagia experience preferred; Medicare documentation experience preferred.
- $31.31-$51.14 per hour depending on previous work experience.
