We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Trotter Workforce. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations and managing a crew of journeyman and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Establish high-performance quality standards and monitor success in reaching those goals on an ongoing basis for the journeyman crew.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the plans and specifications are complete and that journeyman crew members are working with the current documents.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure the proper safety equipment and tools are on the site to perform the required work.
  • Materials Management: Ensure the proper materials are on site to perform the required work.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Must have (5) plus years of experience in electrical construction, design, and cost management as an electrician.
  • Leadership Skills: Must be able to work as well as manage on your own.
  • Technical Knowledge: Must have knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Project Management: Experience managing small to large electrical projects.
  • Commercial Electrical Experience: Commercial electrical experience is required.
  • Voltage Experience: Must be able to work on voltages up to 480V.
  • Medium Voltage Experience: Medium voltage experience greater than 1000V is a plus.
  • Conduit Experience: Bending RMC IMC and EMT conduit is a plus.
  • Telecommunication and Fire Alarm Experience: Telecommunication and fire alarm experience is a plus.
  • Construction Equipment Experience: Experience running construction equipment is a plus.
  • Troubleshooting Experience: Troubleshooting electrical systems is a plus.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting Experience: Experience with maintaining schedules and budgets.
  • Plan Reading and Interpretation: Experience reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the company image under stress.
  • Teamwork: Capable of working in a team environment.
  • Tools and Equipment: Must have own hand tools.
  • Leadership and Project Success: Demonstrated leadership and project success are expected.
