We are seeking a skilled Architectural Service Drafter to support our drafting team with daily tasks at Insight Global.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide drafting support, including redline markups, plan revisions, and notes on working drawings.
  • Conduct CAD duties for Construction Drawings (CDs) using company-adopted software.
  • Produce work within Pulte Drafting Standards and Productivity Tools.
  • Ensure quality control on all work completed.
  • Maintain current knowledge in structural elements of home building, construction installation means and methods.
  • Develop complete construction document sets from Sapphire using PulteGroup tools, processes, and standards.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of CAD operations experience, with knowledge of current AutoCAD Architecture version.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD software.
  • General knowledge of building codes.
  • Knowledge of residential construction techniques and construction documents.
  • Effective communication and organization skills.
  • Software skills in Word, Excel, and ACAD, with BIM software a plus.
  • Multitasking and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Residential construction experience.
  • Experience with Lot-SPEC.
  • Architectural experience, preferably in the Custom Home Building Industry.
