- Establish the vision and success criteria for prioritized product offerings in partnership with key business stakeholders and colleagues.
- Create and oversee product roadmaps for offerings, integrating the product strategy, including timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Propose solutions to identified business challenges, evaluate alternative approaches, and identify gaps based on insights into the product and its usage by clients.
- Evaluate value, develop business cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure alignment with the product strategy.
- Gather product ideas from relevant stakeholders and transform them into potential features, requirements, and user stories to deliver customer and business value.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and management to collect and support the prioritization of product requirements, providing recommendations as needed.
- Balance stakeholder priorities with the capacity of development teams to facilitate achievable roadmaps and delivery targets.
- Ensure that complex product offering requirements are thoroughly documented and communicated, including formal presentations for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders and management on complex issues and conflicts that affect time, cost, scope, quality, and risk of assigned projects, developing and executing mitigation strategies.
- Develop and communicate key performance metrics to assess business value generation, providing management and key stakeholders with measurable indicators of business results.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Product Management or a related role within a development team.
- 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of SAFe and product management methodologies.
- Familiarity with group insurance products and services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven ability to successfully recruit, retain, develop, and mentor staff.
- Exhibits strong leadership skills in project management.
- Ability to find common ground and foster collaboration among senior management, colleagues, and peers.

The compensation range for this position is competitive, with anticipated pay for new hires based on experience, education, location, and qualifications required for the role. Additionally, the role may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on performance.
