Medical Director Physician Clinic

At Concentra, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to join our patient care team. As a Medical Director, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients and supporting the Director of Medical Operations to ensure consistency of clinical care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, mentoring, and leadership to ensure clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.
- Collaborate with the Director of Medical Operations to identify opportunities to improve clinical quality, workflows, safety, and patient satisfaction metrics.
- Mentor and train future clinical leaders, as well as newly hired and tenured clinicians, to foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Understand center financial drivers and outcomes, and assist in achieving annual business and strategic plans.
- Maintain and leverage relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and local communities to drive market growth.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine.
- Current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction.
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years' directly applicable experience, including relevant clinical and supervisory experience.
- Two years' experience in managed care and physician management.
- Experience developing and leading medical management and quality improvement programs, preferably in a managed care setting.

- The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information, including HIPAA and PHI, in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies.
