Physician Assistant Role in Trauma Center

MaineHealth is recruiting a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team at Maine Medical Center.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Summary:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with vascular-related conditions
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct routine check-ups, perform diagnostic tests, and administer medications as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred; successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a trauma setting or equivalent desired
