We are currently seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Trauma Surgery to join our esteemed healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic General Surgery department.


Opportunity Details:
  • Contract Type: Locum Tenens
  • Setting: Hospital
  • Department Overview: General Surgery cases managed through the Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will provide 24-hour call coverage, ensuring the highest level of care for patients requiring surgical intervention.


Facility Information:
  • Hospital Capacity: 500+ beds
  • Trauma Level: Level II
  • Response Time: 7 minutes
  • Call Ratio: 1:4
  • Patient Interaction: 1 admission per shift

Candidate Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • NCCPA or AAPA Certification
  • Recent experience in General Surgery
  • Current state licensure with no restrictions
  • Certifications in BLS and ACLS
