Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Part Time Recruiting Coordinator to join our team at NELSON. The successful candidate will be responsible for the qualification and timely assignment of candidates to contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire client job orders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment processes and be able to work collaboratively with business development managers, office coordinators, and other branch team members to ensure the best quality service to clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the assignment of clients and order fulfillment distribution, partnering with business development managers and branch managers for branch division orders.
  • Participate in staffing projects such as reactivation and large volume staffing projects/requests from various clients, and decide/assign who will be responsible for these and monitor progress and quality service adherence.
  • Understand service offerings and promote all business units, assisting with client negotiations related to pricing within standard guidelines.
  • Document reports of performance for recognition and/or disciplinary review based on client feedback.
  • Monitor quality control of applicant files to ensure compliance with organization and government standards.
  • Consult with clients regarding NELSON services and pricing for quarterly business reviews.
  • Review employment applications, candidate backgrounds, and interviews applicants to evaluate work history, skills, competencies, education, and training.
  • Inform candidates of job duties and responsibilities, compensation, work schedules, and working conditions, policies, assignment opportunities, and other information.
  • Coach and counsel temporary employees to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.
  • Advise branch managers/SVP and corporate departments on contingent workforce employee relation issues.
  • Process relevant credit information on clients and potential clients through automated systems to mitigate payment risk during the client setup process.
  • Coordinate necessary candidate usage needs with temporary departments and assist in arranging open houses and advertising through various outlets to achieve necessary numbers.
  • Update and retrieve candidate information in database systems, i.e., eRecruit, PolicyTech, I9Advantage, and SkillSurvey.
  • Create daily, weekly, and special reports for management and clients, as requested.
  • Initiate documentation for unemployment and workers' compensation claims, coordinating efforts with safety and risk departments.
  • Manage modified duty assignments for temporary employees and coordinate work site safety inspections as needed.
  • Utilize internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
  • May solicit job orders through performing telephone sales and attend local business meetings and/or seminars to represent the organization in the community.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
    • A minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience or a minimum of 1 year of industry experience.
    • Ability to handle multiple complex/demanding projects and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to create meaningful statistical data analysis and associated presentations.

    • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
    • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
    • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite.
