Role Responsibilities:

Terex Utilities is looking for a Service Operations Intern. This paid internship will involve working with the Utilities Services team to maintain and repair various mobile hydraulic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems within truck-mounted mobile equipment.
  • Acquire diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Utilize service software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy machinery.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Entry-level experience or recent graduation from a Technical School focusing on troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing truck-mounted hydraulic equipment.
  • Able to commit to 40 hours per week for a duration of 6 months.
  • Possess a positive, safety-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and shop math skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must have a toolbox equipped with basic tools.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18 to $24, depending on various factors such as location, education, work experience, and certifications.
