UNC Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Carrboro, North Carolina. As a key member of our Diagnostic Radiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data.
- Evaluate the appropriateness of examinations and assess the quality of radiographic images.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all aspects of General Diagnostic Radiology and adhere to Departmental Protocols and Policy and Procedures of UNC Healthcare System.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being by verifying patient identity, obtaining patient history, and assessing physical condition.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- No prior experience required.
- Knowledge of radiation protection and safety, general and electrical safety, infection control, TB, and standard precautions.
