Job Opportunity

ChristianaCare, a leading healthcare provider in the Mid-Atlantic Region, is seeking a skilled Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse to join our team. As a clinical resource and consultant, you will play a critical role in the management of patients with wounds, fistulas, ostomies, and incontinence issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care and guidance to patients and families affected by wounds, ostomies, and incontinence.
  • Develop and implement programs to educate staff on wound care and prevention.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in wound care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree.
  • 3-5 years of acute care nursing experience, with leadership experience preferred.
  • WOCN certification preferred, or completion of certification within 2 years of starting.
