The Data Technician plays a vital role in the Data Processing team at Accel Talent Group. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of pavement deficiencies identified via automated detection and/or manual raters.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and simplified client user manuals to perform quality control/assurance checks.
- Daily review of collected and processed pavement images using data visualization tools and data tables to report any non-conformances to stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies promptly.
- Provide clear feedback to the rating team regarding identified quality discrepancies.
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining accurate and complete quality control logs and updating work status records in Salesforce.
- Work closely with project managers and data analysts to ensure client requirements are met and contribute to project setup and execution.
- Recognize opportunities for process improvement, recommend changes to existing workflows, and communicate needs to software developers.
- High School Diploma
- Proficient MS Office Suite skills, including Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams
- Excellent and effective oral and written communication, and organizational skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to cope with unexpected changes to plans
- Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Strong time management skills, self-motivation, and ability to maximize productivity each day
