Shift Details:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays.
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, with some Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Collaborate within a team or work independently as required.
  • Provide training to production staff and fellow mechanics while being open to learning from others.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and food safety regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Be available for weekend work or overtime with short notice when necessary.
  • Support other departments as needed.
  • Engage in preparation for plant audits and inspections.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for the majority of the shift.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  • Ability to comprehend formulas and instructions.
  • Comfortable working in high-temperature environments.
  • Willingness to perform tasks that involve standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and climbing.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years in a manufacturing environment is essential. Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, conveyors, motors/gearboxes, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints is preferred.
