Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, protecting patients and staff from radiation hazards, and ensuring smooth work and patient flow within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Protect patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazards
- Ensure smooth work and patient flow within the clinic
- Perform quantity and quality control checks to assure X-Ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies
- Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment
- Maintain radiographic supplies and order as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Assist POSC physicians in the delivery of orthopedic patient care management
- Must hold current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license
- RT(R) required
- 1-2 years of prior orthopedic radiology experience preferred
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
- Excellent patient care and computer skills
- Knowledge of EHR system
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology, surgical procedures, and treatment modalities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to maintain quality control standards
This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime. The pay range for this position is $33.00 to $48.00 per hour, DOE. This position is eligible for benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, profit-sharing retirement plan, health savings account contributions, wellness program, and participation in other voluntary benefits programs.
