Certified Infrared Thermography Specialist Position:
BUILDINGTECH INSPECTION SERVICES is seeking a qualified infrared thermographer with a valid certified infrared thermographer certificate. We require an experienced, self-motivated thermographer who understands the importance of customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will work on a contract sub-contract basis or as an employee, performing electrical infrared inspection services, infrared roof inspections, building envelope inspections, and water spray rack testing.
Key requirements include:
- Good moral character, responsibility, and awareness of others
- Minimum age of 18, high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Good eyesight
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to read and write English, and possess effective communication skills
- Willingness to work after hours regularly, some overnight travel
- Flexibility regarding work schedules and locations required by clients
- Willingness to submit to background screening and drug testing
- Willing to work outdoors
- Willing to travel
- Willing to wear proper safety clothing and gear on job sites
- Must have OSHA 40 HR SST
BUILDINGTECH INSPECTION SERVICES is looking for individuals with experience in building construction and facilities trades. We require someone who is willing to learn new skills and adapt to new equipment.
The applicant must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Some sites conduct extensive background checks.
Candidates will also be trained as needed in report preparation.
Self-employed thermographers looking to work as sub-contractors are encouraged to apply.
Sample reports are required.
