We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Resource Management Concepts, Inc. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting our Navy customer in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Audits: Assist the quality director in initiating and scheduling branch audits to identify gaps in our Quality Management System.
- Process Improvement: Work with divisions and branches to audit processes from planning to execution to delivery, identifying quality gaps in the lifecycle of a project.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and disseminate reports for each audit performed, collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to implement design improvements.
- Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from departments/divisions/branches based on new standards and updated processes, incorporating it into instructions for conducting business to produce a quality product.
- Metrics and Dashboards: Help identify the correct input from audits to provide metric information for the command dashboard, enabling easy identification of issues and mitigations for command projects.
- Quality Objectives and Prioritization: Coordinate with production teams to prioritize quality objectives, assisting the quality director in monitoring production processes to identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Cost of Poor Quality: Work with the quality representative to pull reports on cost of poor quality and provide this information as a metric to project managers for accurate cost estimating and project planning.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Develop a spreadsheet for tracking continuous improvement initiatives across departments and identifying intersections between other departments, processes, or projects.
- Lessons-Learned Database: Gather information or criteria to feed a lessons-learned database or report accessible by all departments for use in project planning.
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field, plus 3 years of relevant experience.
- Direct experience supporting a Quality Management System.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
