Vocational Nursing Specialist (LVN) Qualifications:

  • Active Licensed Vocational Nurse in California
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster shots
  • Understanding of long-term care patient requirements
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight to certified nursing assistants
  • Monitor the care and wellbeing of residents
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Complete documentation and treatment plans/physician orders
  • Facilitate the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents as necessary
  • Accompany physicians on rounds as required
  • Welcome and orient new residents and their families
  • Familiarity with Point Click Care (PCC)
  • Perform other assigned duties

Compensation:

The pay scale ranges from $32 to $36 per hour, influenced by various factors such as location, scheduled work shifts, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
