Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Consultant to join our team and contribute to our esteemed clients in the USA. This role demands a proficient individual with a strong background in Java development and MySQL management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement innovative software applications utilizing Java with Spring Boot and Grail frameworks.
- Conduct performance assessments and monitoring of newly developed applications.
- Enhance and maintain the functionality of existing software solutions.
- Oversee and support the MySQL database environment across production, testing, and development stages.
- Evaluate complex technical information to identify risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to assist system users and facilitate training.
- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- 9-10 years of experience in Java programming and software development.
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Grail frameworks.
- Strong knowledge and experience with MySQL databases.
- Proven track record in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.
- Proficient in version control tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS is a plus.
